1st Place: $5,000 USDC

An Insurance application that allows individuals to purchase protection from wind damage. The application allows the purchase of wind damage insurance policies. A user may claim, and the smart contracts check if the Windspeed/Gust is above a certain threshold, for example, 75KM/h, and pays out in that case.

A decentralized sports betting platform that allows users to place bets on EPL matches (currently). It leverages the Goracle sports feed oracle to provide accurate and trustworthy sports data. The blockchain’s transparent nature ensures all transactions are visible, while user identities remain protected. This decentralized sports betting app allows users to place bets on Football and other sporting events.
3rd Place: $2,000 USDC

A unique blend of decentralized lottery and platformer with RPG elements. Players will step into the shoes of adventure seekers. After registering, equipping, and leveling up their character, players can place bets by funding expeditions and embark on an adventure that consists of a series of VRF-generated levels. Randomness will determine the player’s winnings, as well as various conditions such as such as weather (which affects attributes), difficulty across different aspects, random NPCs, and more.

RandNum is a guess-the-number decentralized lottery game built on the Algorand blockchain. It leverages the transparency, security, and verifiability of blockchain to create a fair and trustworthy gaming experience. The game is powered by smart contracts written in pyteal and utilizes Algorand’s VRF for generating random numbers, ensuring that the outcome is truly random and cannot be manipulated.
